A Mouth Watering Combination
Between the 23rd September and 14th October one of the most mouth watering combinations in live performance will occur since Guns n’ Roses and Metallica joined forces to tour Europe and America together. Two of the most celebrated stadium rock performers of the decade will come together. Muse will support U2 for three weeks during the American leg of their 360 Degrees Tour.
Having been supported in Europe already by such acts as Glasvegas, Kaiser Chiefs and Mercury Prize winners Elbow Muse will join them for the longest period of any band on their tour. This has to be one of the most exciting prospects in major, huge, stadium rock music, and yet again (though we have waited a while) U2 continue to push the boundaries.
Muse are the UK’s leaders in stadium performances. Such ornate lighting and huge, ambitious, layered sounds have not been seen since Pink Floyd in the 1980s. Put this together with one of the most iconic bands of the 1990s and 2000s, a band who certainly knows how to put on a show, and those of us on this side of the atlantic will surely be jealous.
