Bon Jovi - new single
Bon Jovi’s new, highly anticipated, album will be released in November. The lead single, We Weren’t Born To Follow, has been released to the radios and can be heard on their website at www.bonjovi.com.
We Weren’t Born To Follow brings back the days of the band’s unique stadium rock sound, which has been lacking for four years, since 2005’s Have a Nice Day. The band took a risk and delved into the world of country rock with their last studio album (2007’s Lost Highway), albeit with their unique stadium spin, but their new single has well and truly declared the band’s intent.
A massive, guitar-driven sound, seems to be what we can expect with their new album The Circle. While it sounds very like they are bringing back the Have a Nice Day style (indeed, they have again drafted in producer John Shanks, and that explains the similarities), We Weren’t Born To Follow isn’t quite as rock n’ roll as Have a Nice Day, the lead single to the album of the same name. It is my guess, then, that fans can expect an album somewhere between 2000’s Crush and its follow up, 2001’s Bounce.
