Feelings
I love the Feelings cd. This cd is perfect to show children how to be aware of their feelings as well as others around them.
SOngs on this cd include the following: In My Heart, The Scary SOng, Knee High Man, Sad, Mad, Glad, Mean Words, Don’t Wanna Do! Brothers and Sisters, Can I Play?, New Kid in Town, and If You’re Happy.
In the song, Sad, Mad, Glad, you could talk about how each person feels in the song and tell ways that would make them feel better. Or if they are glad then wasys that you could celebrate.
This cd helps children by understanding that everyone has feelings and that no one should ever ignore the feelings they have. By listening to the cd children can become more compassionate about others and maybe even themselves. It is never to early to learn how to be a caring comapssionate person and this age is very impressionable.
