If you want to learn about the different families, this cd is perfect for your preschool classroom. The cd is perfect for teaching children about the different family sizes and events that may go on in the homes, as well as learning about the family roles. It teaches children that families consist of more than just a mom and dad and child.
I love the Pizza Pie song. In this song, children learn the steps to make a pizza. It is very cute to see the children acting this out, such as throwing the dough into the air and spreading on the ingredients. An extension idea for this song would be to have each child bring in a family favorite recipe to make a school family cookbook.
